Packhouse Manager needed

 

We grow a wide range of organic fruit and vegetables for our farm shop, markets, box scheme, local and national customers on 77 acres in south Herefordshire, and are looking for a packhouse manager to join our team.

 

A hands-on role mainly responsible for crops from harvest to shipment; storage, grading, packing customers’ orders, helping in farm shop. Some growing and harvest work during quieter seasons.

 

Need to be physically fit, tidy & organised, able to supervise & organise staff, and work under pressure. A passion for organics most important, but experience in organic production, box schemes, retail etc an advantage. Training provided.
