Nourish Scotland announce their ‘New Farmer’ programme

Running from March to December 2014 this is a vocational training and work placement programme for new entrants and employees wanting to develop their food growing, local marketing and small business skills.

Work experience placements available in local food businesses throughout Scotland.

10 x 2 day practical training events
6 hours per week on-line coursework
40 weeks practical work experience

12 horticultural production units
12 Local food marketing units
12 Small business management units
