Job Vacancy: Assistant Grower

We are looking for a grower to work with Richard Plowright here at Stowey Rocks Farm in Somerset. The Assistant Grower will help with the running of the whole growing enterprise from crop planning to market.

We currently grow approximately 25 acres of mixed field veg, 8,000 sq ft of protected crops and 2 apple orchards of some 200 trees. We sell our vegetables through our own vegbox scheme, farm shop, farmer’s market and wholesale. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated, person with good practical skills and preferably with commercial growing experience. A commitment to organic growing and sustainable food production is essential.
