The Big Dig Day 2015

Mar 10, 2015

The Big Dig Day is on Saturday 21st March 2015.

The aim of the day is to get people into their local gardens, getting their hands dirty and helping to prepare the garden for the new growing season.

The Big Dig is a campaign from Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming. Sustain advocates food and agriculture policies and practices that enhance the health and welfare of people and animals, improve the working and living environment, promote equity and enrich society and culture.

The Big Dig is all about getting people involved in their local community garden. There are national events held across the UK that aim to raise the profile of community gardens and encourage more people to take part.

For more information on where your local Big Dig is being held visit: http://www.bigdig.org.uk/
