East of England regional meeting

Jul 13, 2015

How could anyone resist an invitation to visit a 16th century hall, set on a three acre organic smallholding in a peaceful valley in Suffolk, for a natter about all things WWOOF?!

so, what is he telling them?

And so it was that on Saturday 16th May a dozen hosts in the East of England gathered at Old Hall, the home of hosts Graham and Nicky Elliot, to take a tour of their place, exchange information and enjoy a bring and share lunch.

Highlights of the tour included the herb garden, young woodland area and forest garden… and their food store, full of wines, dried fruits, preserves of all kinds in vast quantities, truly inspiring!

Lots of thanks must go to the Elliots for their hospitality and all the hosts who attended for their contributions (and cooking!).

Anyone else wondering what he was telling them about that spade and compost in the first photo? Editor.
