HELP! we need a venue for our Membership Weekend in the north…
Every year we hold our Membership Weekend (and AGM) in late September or early October. We find a different location each time to make sure members in each region have an equal chance to attend without having to travel too far. This year it is the turn of our members in northern England to have this fantastic event on their doorstep and we are searching for that special place we know is just waiting for us.
Last year we spent the weekend at Old Chapel Farm in the hills just outside of Llanidloes, Powys. Bathed in glorious sunshine throughout, the event was a total success – there was a variety of comfortable accommodation, exquisitely lovely and abundant food and drink, perfect meeting spaces and an infinitely interesting (WWOOF host) venue too.
Do you have or know of the perfect place for us? We need:
- Friday and Saturday night accommodation for up to 60 people with a minimum of 30 indoor beds and camping options
- meeting, dining and entertainment spaces able to hold 60 people; with the addition of smaller meeting/workshop areas if possible
- a venue capable of providing full catering from Friday evening until Sunday lunch
- basic is fine!
