insurance survey

Thank you to everyone who took time to respond to our survey about including insurance cover with WWOOFers membership towards the end of last year.

We heard from almost 10% of our members… and most significantly 5% of our WWOOFers. Not only did two thirds of those who replied support the scheme, they had lots of questions about it too.

During the time that the survey was being conducted we also received news from the insurers that the price originally quoted to us would be rising (due to an increase in the rate for insurance premium tax).

This means the goalposts have moved somewhat and we feel it would be inappropriate to introduce the scheme right now. Rather we are delaying implementation until we are confident about the price and product. This may mean an additional, randomized, survey later in the year.
