WWOOFing Taster Days

Jan 14, 2018

Do you know someone who needs a nudge to sign up and get WWOOFing in 2018? Maybe they like to ‘try before they buy,’ or are nervous about starting something new?

Now you can direct them to our first ever WWOOFing Taster Day, which will take place on Saturday 24th February 2018 from 10.30-16.00 at The Nursery, York, courtesy of long term hosts and WWOOF supporters Tony Chalcraft and Jane Thurlow.

The event is aimed specifically at non-members and will provide a micro-WWOOFing experience including some straightforward practical activities, a wholesome lunch and the opportunity to ask questions with a view to inspiring participants to join the wonderful world of WWOOF.

The £10 fee for the day will be discounted from the cost of membership if someone signs up on the spot.

For more information or to reserve a place please go the Taster Day page.

We hope to offer more of these events in 2018 and are looking for willing hosts. If you might be one of them please contact info@wwoof.org.uk. All future Taster Days will be promoted on the home page of our website.
