Want to meet the others? Come to a WWOOF Meet-up

Feb 23, 2019

We want to meet you! And we expect you’d like to meet other hosts and WWOOFers too. Whether you are a current or potential member you are equally welcome and if you’ve always wanted to visit CAT – this day, on 9th March, really does offer two things for the price of one!

There will be an opportunity to tour this demonstration centre for sustainability in Machynlleth, Powys, Wales, and pick up hints and practical tips for living a greener life as well as learning more about WWOOF. Not only that – we look forward to being joined by Sue Stickland, knowledgeable garden writer, fruit and veg expert and grower of unusual veg, who will share her advice on seed saving.

During the afternoon you can have a taster of some typical WWOOFing activities, talk to current and potential WWOOF members, and take part in the ever-popular swaps table by bringing your unwanted things and taking away something new to you!

What’s not to like? At £5 for the day – it’s a bargain!
