You will receive this email notification if you are not replying to WWOOF messages from either your main or secondary email address set on your WWOOF profile.
If you are replying from a different email address than the main email address on your WWOOF profile, please add it to the ‘Secondary E-mail address’ or we will not be able to recognize you. You are always welcome to login to your WWOOF account and reply to your messages from there.
Intended use of Secondary Email Address: If you have multiple email addresses, and have one email program (Gmail, Thunderbird, Outlook, Windows Mail, etc.) configured to receive and reply from multiple email addresses in one place, you can reply to WWOOF messages from either the main or secondary address on your WWOOF account. See Help for your email program to know how this is configured. WWOOF staff are unable to help you with this.
Are you forwarding your WWOOF messages from your primary email address to your secondary and then trying to reply from your secondary email address?
If yes, please know this wasn’t the intended use for the secondary email address, and it won’t work. See explanation of intended use above.
Recommendations to members:
- It is simplest to use one email address for your WWOOF profile. Make this your main email address. (Note, if you need to change your main email address please Contact us.) When replying to WWOOF messages from your email program, ensure you are replying from this email address.
- All WWOOF messages are only delivered to your main email address.
- Note, no members ever see your email address, and only would if you decide to give it to them.
