Bore Place is set in 500 acres of countryside which encompass an organic dairy farm, organic market gardens, conference centre, environmental education centre, as well as programmes to provide opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged young people.

We are looking to recruit an Executive Assistant who shares our mission and core values and can demonstrate the highest standards in all aspects of their work. This is an exciting opportunity to help support our Chief Executive to make a positive impact and to deliver the strategic and operational priorities of the organisation. This is a diverse role from booking meetings to governance tasks to providing HR administrative support.

Bore Place is an educational and environmental charity situated in a glorious countryside location, near to Sevenoaks and Tonbridge. Our mission is to enhance the planet in all that we do, to inspire people to live and work sustainably and lead happy and fulfilling lives. We provide a unique venue, educational programmes for young people, public activities and courses and a site that is open to all.

You will be an exceptional Executive Assistant who is highly organised, with strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate persuasively at all levels in a professional and confident manner. You will be a team player with a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills. You will also need to be comfortable working independently. This role is best suited to those with a can-do attitude and the commitment and drive to deliver against deadlines with agility and efficiency.

Bore Place is at an exciting point in its development. With a refreshed strategy to take us to our 50th year in 2027, good reserves and funding for development, we are aiming to expand the work of the charity and welcome more people to Bore Place. We have a strong management and staff team and a committed Board who are all excited about the next phase in our growth and development. The role will join a friendly, dedicated team that is passionate about our agenda, and you will have access to training, development opportunities, and wellbeing support.
