Farm Advisor – The Farm Adviser will work with farmers and landowners across the Tor to Shore project area to build trusted relationships and support nature-friendly farming. The role focuses on identifying sustainable land management opportunities, supporting wildlife and river recovery while maintaining food production, and helping access schemes such as ELMS and EWCO. It includes on-farm engagement, landscape-scale collaboration, and managing grants and funding applications to support farm improvements.
Reserve Officer – The Helman Tor Reserves Officer will lead delivery of the Tor to Shore project at Helman Tor Nature Reserve, managing a 735-acre landscape to restore and maintain priority habitats for important wildlife. The role oversees conservation grazing, habitat restoration, species recovery, volunteer coordination, and improved public access, while helping establish a new operational hub. Managing staff and trainees and working with volunteers and stakeholders, the postholder will support landscape-scale nature recovery and strengthen community engagement to safeguard Cornwall’s natural heritage.
Youth & Inclusion Officer – The Youth and Inclusion Officer will lead youth and inclusion-focused engagement for the Tor to Shore project, supporting diverse and under-represented communities to connect with and take action for nature. The role involves building trusted relationships, delivering nature connection programmes with young people and under-resourced groups, working with schools and youth organisations, and helping develop a local green teaching network. Working closely with local organisations and colleagues, the postholder will help ensure Tor to Shore is inclusive, accessible, and community-led.

Looking for an enthusiastic Adventure Coordinator to support the smooth running of our events. This is a part-time role, around 8 hours per week, with flexible scheduling, you can work it all in one day or spread it across the week. The Role:
A community owned, charitable co-operative which practices Social Farming on a certified biodynamic farm on the Blackwater Estuary, near Maldon in Essex. Launched in 2017 and building on thirteen years of development, we provide a wide range of educational opportunities through meaningful work experiences to many people, especially those with a learning disability and/or autism (LDA). We also undertake extensive conservation work through on the farm’s 210 acres which includes rare breed cattle and sheep, laying hens, vegetable growing, woolly crafts and a community kitchen processing produce and providing daily lunches.
To be part of the land working team at Lauriston Farm with specific responsibilities for growing, poly tunnels, some outdoor crops sown with Jang seeder, compost, and overseeing other land workers, volunteers or otherwise. Supporting the land team in other general farm activities such as livestock checks and general farm maintenance. Taking an active role in the development and holding of Lauriston’s anthroposophically inspired, social farming community, supporting people with a learning disability and/or autism.
