🌱 Registering an account
Whilst you have to be 18 years old to join most WWOOF organisations, WWOOF UK accepts WWOOFers from 16. Simply sign up for a WWOOFer membership (or if you are with a friend, you would need a ‘dual membership’) and when entering your date of birth, please deduct 100 years. (so if you were born in 2008, you would need to select 1908 as your birth date). You MUST however, write in your profile that you are 16 or 17, as hosts need to know this before they choose to accept your visit request.

🌱 Searching for hosts
We do not however, have a filter for hosts who accept 16/17 year olds, so you would need read the host description (as some mention they only take over 18s) and contact hosts directly to enquire if they would accept you.

🌱 Letter of consent
Some hosts may ask for a letter of consent from parents. We also suggest that the host and parent may want to have a chat. This way hosts can find out if there are any boundaries/limitations or rules that they should know about.
